FIVE GUYS for Cologne
“Optimise and serve!” is the formula for success that took the American burger chain Five Guys around the world and to Cologne. One of the largest burger restaurants in Germany was built on around 600 square metres in Schildergasse. The previous tenant of the space was Parfümerie Pieper, temporarily taken over by Gerry Weber. We were involved in the rental process.
A look back: the first Five Guys store was opened in 1986 by Janie and Jerry Murrel in Arlington, Virginia, and is named after their five brothers. Today, the family-owned company has nearly 1,500 stores worldwide. The Five Guys’ credo is good, handmade burgers and fries. Quality and freshness make the difference. The team makes everything to order and each customer can choose from 15 toppings for their burger. There are 250,000 possible combinations for customers to try – in an absolute prime location.
