Cheese & More soon on Ku’damm
Traditional Dutch cheese brand Henri Willig is opening a new cheese gift store at Kurfürstendamm 235 in spring 2021 under the name Cheese & More by Henri Willig. The previous tenant at the location was the fashion brand Pimkie. In cooperation with Recondo, Lührmann advised on the lease and acted as intermediary.
Lührmann had already helped bring Cheese & More to Cologne last year. In addition to another store in Munich, Berlin is now the third branch in Germany for Henri Willig. Henri Willig presents a wide range of different cheeses, cheese dips, mustards and accessories on a retail area of 400 square metres over two floors. During tastings, both Berliners and the many visitors who come to the city can get to know Henri Willig’s premium cheese. The Cheese & More stores, with their distinctive colorfully packaged cheese wheels, appeal to national and international lovers of craftsmanship and artisanship.
‘Kurfürstendamm, especially in the area leading to Tauentzienstrasse, remains the tourist centre of Berlin's City West. Coronvirus won't change that’, says Christoph Schulz, Managing Partner of Lührmann Berlin. ‘Henri Willig already serves this clientele at several German tourist hotspots, such as Munich and Cologne. He'll soon be in the capital as well’.
The Henri Willig Group has been producing cheese in its own cheese dairies in Katwoude and Heerenveen since 1974. Henri Willig exports its products to more than 35 countries. Millions of visitors are welcomed annually at the cheese farms and the company's own stores.
